India has a rich and diverse cuisine, with every region offering its own unique flavor, delicacies and style of cooking. Royal India creates the ultimate Indian fine dining experience to northern Utah, by reformulating Indian cuisine.  

Serving Salt Lake County with two locations for over 20 years, Royal India has built a reputation for excellent, consistent quality and service. We are the only Indian restaurant in Utah  to offer both North Indian and South Indian Cuisine. 

Owner and chef Emmanuel Shanthakumar started this restaurant in 1998 with the hopes of providing Utah is the best possible Indian food. Emmanuel learned to cook in various restaurants in India and the United States, using this knowledge he opened Royal India. Harking back to Indian way of cooking, Emmanuel has spend years cooking authenticity Indian food. Sticking to his roots, everything in Royal India is made in house with the finest, imported ingredients.
